Battalion Christmas Party

Last night we went to our Battalion Christmas party at the base.  It was an amazing evening that included good food, great door prizes (which we won a gift card & basket from Texas Roadhouse - our FAVORITE steak joint!), a performance of "A Christmas Carol", and a visit from Santa Claus.

Two local churches volunteered their time and funds to put this event on for us - along with the USO.  It's events like this that make us so happy with the lifestyle that we've chosen.  We wouldn't change a thing!

So we just waited in the hangar for him to get out.

was covered with brown paper to look like a chimney.
At the bottom was a fireplace that he crawled through.
